I finished Clockwork Heart by Dru Pagaliasotti and now I want to do nothing more than slash two minor characters who had gallons of subtext! Ha ha, I was more drawn to the side characters than the main characters. It was such an overdone situation which explains why I'm tempted to fic the hell out of it. I'm hopeless.

(I am so behind on blogging about books; I have a huge list to catch up on and it might not happen! Woe. Next year is not going to be a review every book I read year, that's for sure.)

On the plus side, today I talked a friend into buying Sunshine by Robin McKinley after she loathed Breaking Dawn. Win!

I actually have that book! It's on my bookshelf somewhere waiting for me to grow arms long enough to reach the top shelf without standing up. (It's in alphabetical order! Alphabetical order with the As on the bottom shelf because that's the one I can reach. :D) So... I take it the side characters being more Nay-appealing than the mains is a BAD sign...?

(I see your list and raise you mine, (http://community.livejournal.com/bookturnedmind/profile) which is HIDEOUSLY OUT OF DATE now I look at it. Clearly I just need a notebook that automatically transfers what I write to the internet.)

YAY FOR SEDUCING PEOPLE TO SUNSHINE! :D

Gay couple! Matchmaking program! CLOCKWORK/STEAMPUNK-ish matchmaking program, even! Extremely smart programmers! One of which is *~~very put out~~* over the fact the program matched them and definitely does not want to date the other! THEN SOMETHING DRAMATIC HAPPENS AND MAYBE HE CHANGES HIS MIND.

MAYBE.

I'll say no more. *STARE*

Oh, man, I finally read Twilight the other week and thought of you. That book sucked so hard. Some might say I've got taste, but I know deep-down I'm just uncool.

My Borders is shite and I'm having a hell of a time finding some of the books you recced me, lo, all thoses ages ago! (Translation: I'm lazy and they're not in stock and ordering them from Amazon is a monumental effort somehow. At this rate, maybe two years from now! Or I'll just sucker somebody into giving them to me as gifts this Christmas. Whatevs!)

Anyway, hi and how's it and so forth!
