Trick or Treat: 2008!

first_seventhe and owlmoose brought it up and I said, "YES!" because frankly, I love watching these things unfold and I liked this one a lot. Surprises! I heart them and wish for there to be more. Perhaps this time around I will become something other than neurotic and write! Here are the directions, straight from last year. Onward!

Trick or Treat 2008

It's Halloween time and here is another ficbit meme. I will steal from Sev, who sorted the premise!

People prompt with two characters—basically a pairing. The "treats" are then relationshippy, "sweet" pairing-fic, the "tricks" would be gen-fic in which nothing romantic happens. [addition by Nay: but shenanigans and hijinks can totally happen! In fact, um—please?]

How to Play
Leave a comment here in the following format: Character 1, Character 2, one/two word prompt. Always use the comma and not a slash between characters when requesting so you don't show bias and scare off writers. :D

The prompt is optional. Here are some examples:

1) Squall, Ellone, stuffed animals
2) Sephiroth, Chocobo (and creepy fic would make sense this time!)
3) Rydia, Edge
4) Cloud, Zack, guns

How to Post Ficbits
Find a character combination you like and decide whether you're going to trick or treat that person. Then post your ficbit as a reply to that person's comment. Please give your comment a subject line with the fandom and characters. I've got my eye out!

A Squall/Ellone treat subject line would be: FFVIII, Squall/Ellone.
A Squall, Ellone trick subject line would be FFVIII, Squall, Ellone.

Using subject lines will make it easier for others to find your fic! Also I will doodle your name in hearts in Photoshop. TRUE LOVE.

It's Halloween, so scary/creepy/disturbing fic is totally game—beware to those who like happy endings. ;) As always, the character limit in LJ comments is 4300 characters, but if you break the meme (and as the prime directive here is always "tl;dr" that's totally okay) and post elsewhere, just include a link and make your comment as usual.
